Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2, 2026
The short version: SnapSweep analyzes your screenshots and photos entirely on your device. We don’t require an account, we don’t upload your photos, and we don’t keep a copy of your library. Your images stay with you.
This Privacy Policy explains how Axain Studios (“Axain Studios,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the SnapSweep mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Your photos and screenshots
SnapSweep needs access to your photo library to find duplicate, similar, and clutter screenshots and photos. This access is used solely to analyze your library on your device and show you suggestions.
- All scanning, fingerprinting, and similarity detection runs on-device.
- Your photos, screenshots, and the fingerprints derived from them are never uploaded to us or any third party.
- We do not store, transmit, or have access to the contents of your photo library.
- When you choose to delete images, the deletion is performed through the operating system’s standard Photos mechanisms, so removed items follow your device’s normal “Recently Deleted” recovery flow.
2. Information the App stores locally
To work smoothly, SnapSweep keeps a small amount of state on your device only, such as which items you’ve marked as “protected” (never suggested for cleanup), a local cleanup history, and your app settings. This data does not leave your device except as part of your own device backups, which you control.
3. Subscriptions and purchases
SnapSweep Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or handle your payment card details. Purchases and subscription status are validated using Apple’s StoreKit. Apple’s handling of your transaction is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
4. Advertising
The free version of SnapSweep may display advertising provided by Google AdMob. Ad networks may use device identifiers and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. On iOS, personalized advertising depends on your App Tracking Transparency choice, and you can change your preference at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. For details on how ad data is handled, see Google’s advertising policies. SnapSweep Premium removes ads.
5. Diagnostics
If you opt in through iOS, Apple may share aggregated, anonymized crash and performance diagnostics with developers. This information is not linked to your identity and does not contain your photos.
6. Data we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, or the contents of your photo library. We have no user accounts and maintain no server-side profile of you.
7. Children’s privacy
SnapSweep is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can address it.
8. Your choices
- You can grant, limit, or revoke Photos access at any time in Settings → SnapSweep.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in the App Store account settings.
- You can control ad tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- You can remove all locally stored app data by deleting the App.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected in the App or on this page.
