Terms of Use

In plain terms: SnapSweep helps you review and delete your own photos. You decide what gets removed, and you’re responsible for those choices. Please back up anything important before cleaning up.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Axain Studios (“Axain Studios,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the SnapSweep application (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the App, except to the extent permitted by law;
Rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or redistribute the App;
Use the App to violate any law or infringe the rights of others; or
Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the App or its related services.

3. Your content and deletions

SnapSweep operates on the photos and screenshots in your device’s library. Category suggestions (such as “duplicates” or “similar”) are estimates, not guarantees, and you are solely responsible for reviewing and confirming what to delete. Deletions are performed through the operating system’s standard mechanisms and generally follow your device’s normal recovery flow, but we strongly recommend maintaining a current backup before removing any content. We are not responsible for any loss of photos or data resulting from your use of the App.

4. Subscriptions

SnapSweep offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, “SnapSweep Premium,” which unlocks additional features. The following applies to subscriptions purchased through the App Store:

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the applicable rate.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings after purchase.
Prices are shown in the App and may vary by region. Any unused portion of a free trial, where offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

5. Advertising

The free version of the App may display third-party advertising. Your interactions with advertisers, and any third-party content, are solely between you and the relevant third party.

6. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by Axain Studios and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or logos.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its suggestions will be accurate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Axain Studios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, photos, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Apple’s role

These Terms are between you and Axain Studios only, not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

10. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. Your license ends automatically if you fail to comply with any of these Terms. You may end this agreement at any time by deleting the App.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where Axain Studios is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence.
